A new virtual reality sports and gaming bar is set to open in New Era Square

An exciting new bar concept will open to the public next month at New Era Square, offering a variety of experiences ranging from live sporting events to cutting-edge virtual reality gaming.

Panenka Restaurant is located over two floors, at the entrance to New Era Square – a thriving hub of restaurants, bars and cafes located between Bramall Lane and London Road.

Inside you’ll find 35 huge screens and 3 separate bar areas, making it the perfect place to watch a wide range of live sports – especially when they offer regular shows on match days, exclusive packages and plush VIP booths to really take things up a notch!

If you’re feeling hungry, the Asian-inspired menu has everything from fried gyoza and bao buns to Korean corn dogs and Sichuan burgers. The food offering is well complemented by a wide range of cocktails and beers, while Sheffield’s only ‘bottomless bento box’ brunch will be soundtracked by live DJs.

Elsewhere, the mezzanine at Panenka will offer a premium gaming experience – with pool tables, arcade games and exclusive VR units allowing up to 4 guests to enter the virtual gaming world and play the latest releases in 5K including The Walking Dead. , an exorcist and arrogance.
