Amelia from EAT Scottsdale

McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale has welcomed its newest restaurant, Amelia’s by EAT. This neighborhood restaurant puts a unique spin on grilled meat boards with a “build your own board” concept, as well as chef-selected boards.

Amelia’s by EAT was created by Chef Stacey Weber as an extension of her catering company, Eat by Stacey Weber. The cozy restaurant provides the perfect place for a night out, with comfortable outdoor seating and large tables ideal for gatherings such as a night out. The welcoming rectangular bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant, complemented by a stunning floor-to-ceiling wine wall and open kitchen concept. There is a convenient take-away section at the front of the restaurant, featuring a selection of ready meals, drinks, pastries and groceries to enjoy at home or to give as gifts to others.

Amelia’s by EAT prides itself on thoughtfully sourcing ingredients from companies throughout Arizona. Some suppliers include Noble Bread, Steadfast Farms, Los Millex Vineyards and many local farmers and artisan growers. The restaurant welcomes guests for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, serving a range of dishes available throughout the day as well as exclusive selections in the evening.

Guests can enjoy the unique experience of building their own board exclusively on the dinner menu. This concept offers options not typically found on traditional charcoal boards and offers three categories: Main, Garden, and Root and Grain. Under the main category, diners can choose from options like red wine-braised beef short rib, a tender, grass-fed tri-tip slider served on fluffy bread with arugula and horseradish and delicious house-made vegetarian falafel. The Garden’s options include mandarin and pepper olives, a perfect combination of sweet and spicy, along with lemon-garlic broccoli and quinoa tabbouleh. In the Roots and Grains category, guests can enjoy roasted sweet potatoes, freshly baked focaccia and delicious steak frites.

If building your own board seems overwhelming, Amelia’s by EAT provides an alternative with chef-curated boards, expertly balancing all the categories on the menu. Beyond the plates, the menu includes nosh bites (be sure to try the soft pretzels served with creamy mustard), sandwiches, salads, toasties, and delicious desserts.

Amelia’s by EAT is open seven days a week from 7am to 8pm. For more information, visit ameliasaz.com.
