This simple beef and pasta recipe is one of my favorite easy dinner recipes. Comfort food at its best, it is A delicious and flavorful combination of tender beef and onions In a homemade brown broth of beef stock, soy sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, fresh thyme, and half-and-half. Delicious just as is, it also offers plenty of options for toppings or substitutions. Try incorporating mushrooms or frozen peas, or substitute roast beef for ground beef. You can also substitute some of the half-and-half with sour cream for a dish similar to beef stroganoff.

Can you freeze beef and pasta?

I do not recommend freezing this beef and pasta recipe For two reasons: the first reason is that the sauce contains half and half, and the second reason is the noodles. Freezing sauces that contain dairy tend to separate when frozen and thawed and may undergo changes in consistency. Meanwhile, the pasta will continue to absorb liquid as it cools, becoming moist in the process.

Any leftovers will be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator Refrigerate for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove until heated through. Add additional beef broth if necessary.
