Fort Worth loves a solid brunch, as proven by the endless options at Sunday Funday (and sometimes Saturday) dining destinations. For many, brunch cocktails are as important as the menu itself. Customers are being tempted by mimosas, coffee blends, bellinis, and blood drinks (the latter of which has seen the “make your own” trend, which has thankfully disappeared).

Today’s brunch drinks are more decadent than ever, infused with upscale vodka or tequila, served with a generous garnish of fresh fruit and herbs, and topped with a crunch of champagne for the perfect toast. Here are six delicious brunch spots, all great for entertaining guests in town this holiday season.

Eggtastic Cafe Brunch
Opened in April, this new restaurant in Alliance Town Center has received early praise for its massive menu, ample space, and convivial atmosphere — including a full bar for seating and sipping. Cocktails include a Bloody Mary and a mimosa (watermelon is a fun juice option) as well as a unique avocado margarita made with Don Julio tequila, pineapple and lime and surrounded by a tajine. Eggtastic also roasts its own beans, so don’t miss out on a cup of joe or better yet, order the Abuelitas con Café – coffee spiked with more Don Julio and drizzled with Mexican Abuelita chocolate. Hotbox Club Biscuit
Don’t sleep on this South Main Street biscuit haven for Sunday Funday — Hot Box has one of the most elaborate brunch and brunch cocktail menus in the city. First, there’s the genius breakfast drink Margarita, a drink somewhere between a marg and a mimosa made with tequila, margarita mix, and bubbly orange juice. Other fan favorites include the Boozy Palmer made with sweet tea vodka and lemon juice. Gin Punch made with orange juice, passion fruit juice and tang; and Naughty Cherry Limeade infused with vodka. Enjoy the tart and refreshing taste of Rise & Shine, a blend of Espolón tequila, grapefruit juice, sparkling grapefruit soda, lime and a salt rim. Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10:00.

Chef Point Restaurant and Bar
No collection of the best brunch cocktails would be complete without a mention of Chef Point’s famous Bloody Mary.
