Prime + Vine butcher shop and wine bar is open in Lewis Center, Ohio

LOUIS CENTER, Ohio (WCMH) – A central Ohio butcher shop has opened featuring a wide selection of wine and beef produced from the owner’s personal farm.

Prime + Vine welcomes patrons to 5915 Evans Farm Drive in Lewis Center, specializing in cultured American Wagyu beef from owner Jeff Gaylor’s cattle ranch in Knox County. The space also offers a series of other meats, including heritage Berkshire pork and chicken from Woodruff Farm in Urbana.

The Gaylor store features a selection of wines curated by sommelier David Kusz, available by the bottle or glass at the wine bar. The space uses NAPA’s proprietary “WineStation” technology to provide customers with up to eight tasting glasses.

Custom-made charcuterie boards with Italian, Spanish or smoked-themed meats, cheeses and other accoutrements round out the store’s offerings. Cookware items, jams and pastas are also available.

Prime + Vine’s meat shop is open from 11am to 6pm Wednesday to Sunday, while the wine bar is open from 4pm to 9pm Wednesday to Friday and 11am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday. Learn more here.
