John and Sue Gilbert, owners of several Nothing Bundt Cakes shops in the Phoenix area, are bringing their French-inspired crepe and café chain to metro Phoenix.

They will open Sweet Paris Creperie & Café annually between 2024 and 2027, with three in Arizona and a fourth in Fort Worth, Texas.

“Sweet Paris Creperie & Café checked all the boxes for us – world-class cuisine, amazing service, beautiful decor and ambiance,” the Gilberts said in a statement.

The café debuted in Houston in 2012 and has 14 locations in Texas, Florida and Mexico. The Arizona locations will be part of a larger expansion of the brand that will bring the international total to 36 locations over the next few years.

The restaurant specializes in sweet and savory crepes, with flavors such as cookie butter, raspberry agave, Nutella and truffle caprese, and chicken carbonara. They also serve pancakes, egg dishes, soups, salads, and paninis.

The drinks menu includes cocktails, juices, hot drinks and milkshakes.
