The waffle filling trick is my new favorite way to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers this holiday season

You’ll taste it all in one bite.
A self-proclaimed “super foodie,” Alexa Santos (@alexasantos) prides herself on her “easy, accessible, yet exciting” recipes.
Her stuffed pies are just that.
“This is the best way I’ve found to eat Thanksgiving leftovers,” she began the clip, saying.
While she said you can make your own fresh filling for this recipe, using Thursday’s leftovers is the easiest way to do so.
Simply fill your waffle maker with the filling, close it, and let it sit until it’s fried, crispy, and golden.
Once fully cooked, top with mashed potatoes, turkey, broth, and cranberry sauce.
“And yes, this is the leftover waffle from Thanksgiving.”
After one bite, Alexa got a taste of the crispy patty, fluffy potatoes, juicy turkey, and sweet sauce.
“This is perfection,” she exclaimed.
“Pie filling is about to be your new favorite way to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers this holiday season.”
Viewers loved her creative style of cooking.
“This is a delicious way to eat leftovers! I usually make them into a sandwich,” one person wrote.
“Mmm that sounds good,” he praised again.
A third suggested another dish to put in there: “It needs a layer of macaroni and cheese instead of mashed potatoes.”
