Very Quirky Destinations Santa Clarita Residents Can Visit – Brush Creek Ranch

Why stay home for Thanksgiving when there are so many unusual destinations, like Brush Creek Ranch, waiting to be discovered?
In the twenty-ninth installment of a multi-part series, KHTS reveals unusual destinations Santa Clarita families can visit for their “exotic” vacation.
This week’s location takes us to Saratoga South Central Wyoming.
In the Brush Creek RanchThere are over 30,000 private acres including a 600-acre ski mountain, numerous rivers, streams and lakes along with stunning views.
The farm has three different areas for guests to stay, including the Lodge and Spa, French Creek and Magee Homestead.
Each area has different things to offer from scenery to activities.
What is offered in the lodge and spa area?

the Lodge & Spa The area at Brush Creek Ranch is their way of honoring the Old West of 1884 by designing everything to resemble that period along with modern conveniences.
There are 44 individual units with 19 rustic lodge rooms and 25 private luxury log cabins.
Also in this area is a spa offering massages, facials, a steam room and a sauna.
You can enjoy the spa with wellness classes that include fitness courses and a variety of yoga classes such as sunrise yoga, snooja yoga and goat yoga to name a few.
To pair with a healthy and relaxed body, the lodge and spa area has several different venues such as the Creekside Dinner Camp, the salon and the elegant Cheyenne Club.
What is served at French Creek?

the French Creek The ranch area is said to be the most secluded with only four one-room cabins and one yurt.
“Accommodates up to 14 guests only. French Brush Creek’s service is exceptionally personalized, including your own concierge, guides, and personal chef for your entire customized retreat,” states the Brush Creek Ranch website. “Wake up every morning to the sound of the running creek just steps from your front door and end every evening making memories under A cover of stars.”
In the yurt, there are nearly 360 views of the surrounding nature located just steps away.
Inside the yurt is a wood-burning stove to keep guests warm during their camping experience.
French Creek is located near the creek and has an outdoor dining area and a fire pit to keep guests warm while looking at the stars.
What is offered at the Magee Homestead area?

the Maggie Homestead The area is an adults-only area intended to be a romantic getaway.
To feel rejuvenated, guests can visit the spa equipped with a sauna, steam bath, outdoor hot tub, salon and fitness centre.
Some of the services offered include massages, skin care and body treatments.
For a secluded swim, guests can visit the cave equipped with a firewall.
For a swim in the sun, there is a heated pool with seating area below the cabanas as well as poolside services.
After a swim, guests can step back to enjoy a pasture and a platter with 100% American Wagyu beef.
To enjoy world-class cuisine, the Magee Homestead area offers a wide selection of fine wines, beers and spirits.
To add to the experience, guests can go to Brush Creek Ranch Farm, where all of their food is grown and prepared.
This can be an all-day activity where guests go behind the scenes and get hands-on cooking classes, wine tastings and distillery tours.
During the wine tasting, guests can learn about the farm’s 30,000-bottle wine cellar and then learn how spirits are made in the distillery.
Available to all areas, there is a private ski mountain open from December until April.
For those who want to experience Thanksgiving in Wyoming, the ranch is scheduled to hold an event from November 22nd through November 26th.
