Ypsilanti School is giving back to the community with a free Thanksgiving lunch

YPSILANTI, MI – A Ypsilanti school will give thanks early this year with a free lunch to feed more than 100 community members.
Achifying College and Career Education High School – part of the Ypsilanti Community Schools District – will open its doors for a free Thanksgiving Appreciation Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, at the ACCE Building, 1076 Ecorse Road.
School district officials said the meal is organized by ACEE students and staff as a way to thank community members who support athletics, merchandise, food and student initiatives.
More than 100 community members are expected to meet with ACEE students, officials said. Attendees can also go home with food, including turkey and pumpkin pie, for personalized Thanksgiving meals.
